E-xecutive Personalia

By request of the E-xecutive, a Managers' Society, our company, Ivelum, designed one of the main commercial services for the Society, named E-xecutive Personalia (currently also called Search@E-xecutive).

Employers obtains access to the service by (paid) subscription and it provides the following possibilities:

• Access to the client part of the site of www.e-xecutive.ru for review of society members' resumes and ability to conduct multiparameter search of candidates according to given criteria;
• Saving of the results of resume searches for further use;
• Publication of vacancies on E-xecutive site according to the terms of the advertiser's subscription;
• Viewing of submitted responses from the candidates and management of responses;
• Publishing of company information and company news;
• Shared access to the system for several employer company representatives with division of their responsibilities and access rights;

For the E-xecutive employees the system offers all necessary tools for the service management and administration:

• Control of the employers' records, access control according to the service plan paid for by the company that advertises its vacancies. Service plans can impose limits on geographic location, type of industry or business, specialization field, position type/level, or general number of advertised positions;
• Management of all system references and their interlinks;
• Published content moderation, both for vacancies and other published information.

Specifics of the projects:

Before starting the work, Ivelum conducted a comprehensive audit of the current state of the client's systems, which included auditing of both hardware and software used, and analysis of the source code and databases, and also stress-load testing.

The Personalia project implied modernization of the old version of the service, which in practical terms meant its total overhaul and introduction of new functionality. The old version of the service existed as a separate subsystem not part of the main E-xecutive portal, used a different set of programs and ran under a different operating system. Dissimilar programming interfaces and two unconnected databases created obstacles to modernization and administration of the whole project.

Work conducted by Ivelum:

• Comprehensive audit of the current company portal;
• Stress-load test of E-xecutive main portal;
• Drawing up specification for the new version of the Personalia service based on the results of the audit and its conclusions;
• Design of the new version of the service;
• Restructuring of a large part of the main portal database, and unification of the Personalia and main portal databases;
• Modification of the main portal  necessary for proper integration with the renewed Personalia service;
• Change of design of the E-xecutive main portal;
