Rosan Finance

Rosan Finance is one of the largest makers of plastic and paper cards in Russia. It produces thousands of cards of various types daily for over 400 clients. Card manufacturing is a multi-stage process with dozens of technological operations. To improve service quality for their clients, the company decided to automate client notification about the status of placed orders.

A web interface designed and operated by Ivelum helps Rosan clients view their order status as it is reported from the internal Rosan ERP system and lets them generate reports according to the client company type and access rights.

This project provides a high level of security and protection from break-ins. The web interface is run on a dedicated server placed into a DMZ and has no direct access to the internal ERP system. All work is conducted via an SSL-protected protocol, and mechanisms preventing unauthorized access to the system are employed, which include two-stage protection from password-guessing with IP blocking of the abuser's machine, logging, and automatic alerts of the system administrator.

During development we conducted performance tests, which demonstrated that the system can maintain performance tens of times higher than the one detailed in the specification for the project.
