Kariatida

Kariatida is a tourist company that has been working successfully in the Russian segment of international and in-country tourism since 2002. Company management decided very early that promotion of the company services via the Internet was their utmost priority.

By the time the company contacted Ivelum, it already had a site of its own with a well-developed structure and a number of pages reaching 2000 with 3000 images. Unfortunately site configuration and site management caused a number of difficulties, and attempts to implement new ideas in site growth and development met with technical obstacles.

Ivelum engineers moved Kariatida site to their own FrontContent Content Management System, preserving the existing look and feel. For the transfer to succeed, database of the old version was analyzed and scripts for data importation were developed, which also performed necessary data conversions. The transfer was completely automated with minimal corrections by hand after the transfer operation finished.

Thanks to the move to FrontContent we managed to implement all customer requests and the company site operators could use a much more convenient and flexible tool for content management.
